Self Care (Part II)


Self care is super important in all seasons of life, but especially during law school. As law students, we tend to not take care of ourselves, yet even taking 5 or 10 minutes to ourselves can refresh us mentally and spiritually. Last year, I posted about Practicing Self Care, but I want to update my list of self care activities. Make sure to check out my first post to see part one of my list!

  • Enjoy a cup of coffee
  • Read a Bible Verse
  • Go to a Farmer's Market
  • Sing
  • Volunteer at your favorite organization
  • Go on Pinterest
  • Talk to a counselor 
  • Clean a room in your house (the kitchen is a great place to start)
  • Watch the sunrise or sunset
  • Get a massage
  • Take a hot shower
  • Make a new playlist
  • Make a to do list
  • Eat some chocolate
  • Wash your face
  • Print out some photos of loved ones
  • Buy yourself flowers
  • See a movie, play, ballet, concert, etc.
  • Try a new food
  • Go to a museum
  • Learn a new hobby 
  • Scrapbook
  • Draw
  • Take vitamins or supplements
  • Step outside
  • Learn a new fact 
  • Write out positive things about your day
  • Do a brain dump
